What Is KO 360, and Why Does It Exist?

People trust people before they trust brands. That idea isn't a tagline for us. It's the reason the agency exists.

KO 360 is a founder-led storytelling agency based in Scarborough, Toronto, built by former BBC News journalists. We help professionals and brands turn their expertise into content that's clear, credible, and human. It's the kind that makes the right people stop scrolling and start paying attention.

Our clients are people whose businesses run on trust: founders, real estate and mortgage professionals, immigration consultants, home inspectors, healthcare providers, advisors, and consultants. Most of them are already good at what they do, with the experience and client results to prove it. What they often don't have is a clear way to show that online, where a stranger forms their first impression in seconds.

That gap is the problem we solve. We help experts become easier to understand, easier to remember, and easier to trust.

What the name KO 360 means

The name comes from somewhere personal.

In Tamil, Ko means king, or leadership. Tamil is one of the world's longest-surviving classical languages, and in 2004 it became the first language India recognised as classical. It still carries that weight through the families and communities who speak it. For us, Ko isn't about status. It's about helping people step into the strongest version of their own work: becoming leaders in their field, not by looking bigger than they are, but by finally communicating the value they already carry.

The 360 is about how we see content. Not one video, not one post, not one campaign, but the full picture: the person, the brand, the audience, the message, and the trust being built between them.

KO 360 started on May 20, 2023, over a conversation in the food court at Scarborough Town Centre. What began as an idea between the two founders became an agency shaped by newsroom habits, community roots, and one belief: that good people doing good work deserve to be seen properly.

We start with clarity, not cameras

Most people assume content begins with filming. For us, it begins with clarity.

Before we plan a single shot, we want to understand the person behind the business. What do they actually know? What do their clients ask them, over and over? What should someone feel after hearing them talk? Those answers shape everything that follows.

Only then do we move into scripting, shooting, editing, and distribution. The result isn't content that fills a feed. It's content that gives people a reason to trust you.

Why journalism shaped the way we work

Our newsroom background is the foundation of KO 360.

At BBC News, we were trained to listen closely, ask sharper questions, find the real story, and explain complicated things in plain language. That training turns out to matter enormously in marketing. Good content isn't about looking polished. It's about knowing what to say, what to leave out, and how to make someone care.

The data backs this up. Edelman's 2026 Trust Barometer found that 62% of people who trust a food or lifestyle influencer would trust, or consider trusting, a company they currently distrust, if someone they trust vouched for it. Trust travels through people. That's exactly the kind of trust we help our clients build: earned directly, in their own voice.

Who KO 360 is for

KO 360 is built for people whose work lives or dies on reputation.

A realtor needs people to trust their read on the local market. A mortgage professional needs people to trust their guidance through a stressful decision. An immigration consultant needs people to trust the process. A healthcare provider needs people to trust their care; a home inspector, their judgment. In each of these, generic content doesn't just underperform. It quietly erodes the thing you're trying to build.

The right content should help people understand who you are, how you think, and why they can rely on you. That's the standard we hold our own work to.

Why we do this

KO 360 exists to make real expertise visible. Not louder, not exaggerated, just clearly seen.

We build video-first content systems, personal branding strategies, and story-led marketing for professionals who have something worth saying and haven't yet found the words for it. Being seen is only half of the job. The goal is to be seen and trusted.
