The People Behind KO 360
Most agencies would tell you their strength is the camera, the editing, or the content calendar. Ours is simpler: it's the two of us.

KO 360 was never built to be a faceless agency. It grew out of our own path. We're Aishwarya Ravishankar and Sairam Jayaraman, based in Scarborough, Toronto, and we both come from journalism. We both worked as BBC News journalists, and over years of telling other people's stories, we learned the same lesson: trust starts with listening. Storytelling was part of who we were long before it became a company.
From the newsroom to a storytelling agency
Journalism changes how you see people. You learn to listen past the first answer, to ask questions with a purpose, to find the real story under the surface, and to explain complicated things without leaving anyone behind. Those habits are the ones we built KO 360 on. Between us we cover the whole arc of a piece, from the first interview and the editorial call on what matters, through the shoot, the edit, and how it reaches the right audience.
We didn't start this agency because we wanted to make videos. We started it because we kept seeing the same gap: capable professionals who were visible online but not understood, posting regularly without building trust, carrying real expertise that their content never quite showed. We knew there was a better way to do it.
What journalism taught us about marketing
People don't remember information just because it exists. They remember what feels clear, relevant, and honest, and they remember the person who helped them finally understand something they'd been struggling with.
That's why we don't open with content ideas. We open with the person. Who are you, what do you know, what do you believe, and what are people always asking you? What should your audience trust you for? Those answers become the foundation for everything that follows: the script, the shoot, the edit, the caption, the posting rhythm, and the personal brand that builds over time.
Why founder-led matters
KO 360 is founder-led because the work is personal. Our clients are usually the face of their own business, so their content can't feel borrowed from another industry or lifted from a trend. It has to sound like them, carry their thinking, and reflect their values, and that doesn't happen without care.
We work closely with clients because storytelling needs context. We want to know how they speak, how they serve, what they stand for, and the kind of trust they're trying to earn. That's the reason KO 360 isn't a content factory. We're building a storytelling agency for professionals and brands who want substance behind their visibility.
Who leads what
We split the work along our strengths. Sairam turns ideas into clear, strategic, high-performing content and leads content strategy and scripting, social media optimisation, AI-powered production workflows, the systems and technology behind consistent publishing, and founder-led execution. Aishwarya helps clients feel confident on camera and leads on-screen training, video direction, creative production, narrative strategy, and client relationships. Put together, that covers the whole path from a rough idea to a finished, on-brand story and the relationship around it.
The journey of KO 360 is our journey
KO 360 was born on May 20, 2023, over a casual conversation in the food court at Scarborough Town Centre. The thought behind it was simple: we wanted to help the people around us become more visible, more trusted, and more confident in how they present their work.
At first that meant helping people we already knew, professionals and founders in our community who had something real to offer but needed help turning it into clear content. Over time the idea grew. KO 360 became a way to bring together everything we'd learned from journalism, media, community storytelling, and business building, and to help the people we work with become leaders in their own industries. Not by performing or chasing attention, but by showing their real expertise with clarity and purpose.
Community storytelling has always been close to us. Alongside KO 360, we run Canada Tamil Couple, a passion project that features inspiring people and the stories that matter to the Tamil diaspora across Canada, the United States, and around the world. It comes from the same instinct as our client work: real stories, told with care, build real connection.
What we want KO 360 to stand for
We want KO 360 to stand for trust. Good visuals, sharp editing, strategy, and consistency all matter, but none of it works if people don't believe the person behind the brand.
So our work keeps coming back to the same three questions. Does this content make the person easier to trust? Does it make their expertise easier to understand? Does it help the right audience feel confident enough to reach out? When the answer is yes, the content that builds trust has done its job.
That's the work we believe in: human, clear, useful, and credible. That's KO 360.
